- 3. Golden Time: Anyone doing business w/ cast or crew should be treated at least as well (respect in words and deeds) as we would wish to be treated were we in their position.
- 4. Standard is Excellence - Every Aspect of Production. No crew member ever need caveat that their contribution is important. Communicate your need, in a non-critical manner.

- 5. Mistakes are Good!!! Experimentation must be encouraged. As Miles Davis said, “There are no mistakes, there are only gifts.”
- 6. Action. All discussions must culminate in decision / resolution / action taken / responsible party identified / follow-up steps identified.

- 7. Win-Win. All discussions/activities should be encouraging, supportive, and compassionate, and have as their objective a win-win-(win) solution. What's truly good for each dept will be good for the film, for producers, and especially the audience.
- 8. Long-term Decisions must have time devoted to them each day / week / meeting. Never get caught up in crisis management only.

- 9. Change the Future - the point of all discussions / criticism / planning, not to assign blame.
- 10. Seek Opportunity to Say YES! Specifically say yes at the first opportunity. At a minimum say yes if - Not no-unless. Take action to make it come true, until circumstances determine that path is no longer one we ought to follow.
